Learn / Your practice workspace

From first order
to informed review.

Practise the mechanics in the VCM terminal, then use a separate, properly scoped evaluation for any delivered trading system.

The VCM practice terminal uses generated prices and virtual funds. It does not connect to a broker, place real orders or demonstrate paid-bot performance.

A guided introduction

Understand the
basic workflow.

Interactive guide / Illustrative values

Choose your workspace

Open the practice terminal with virtual capital. Choose EUR/USD, GBP/USD, gold or Bitcoin. All prices and warm-up candles are generated.

Virtual capital$10,000No registration. No deposit.

Step 1 of 4. Practice uses generated prices and virtual funds.

Your terminal, explained

Know what
each control does.

Open a virtual account

Choose virtual capital and launch the terminal. There is no broker login. This account cannot receive deposits or withdraw funds.

Read the chart

Prices and warm-up candles are generated. Candle-size controls group 5, 15 or 30 simulation updates, not real market minutes. EMA overlays are illustrative indicators.

Place a market order

Choose an instrument, lot size and stop/target distances in practice pips. Review the risk estimate, then select Buy or Sell. A new trade starts with a simulated spread cost.

Use a pending entry

Choose a buy limit, sell limit, buy stop or sell stop. The entry waits for the generated quote to reach its trigger. The eventual fill can differ from your requested price.

Manage open positions

Edit stop-loss and take-profit price levels, close half where volume allows, or close the whole position. Close all also cancels pending orders and disables sample bots.

Explore sample bots

Resume prices and open the Bots tab. Enable a sample and wait for qualifying conditions. Disabling it stops new entries but leaves existing positions open.

Pause and recover

Pausing freezes quotes, pending triggers, bot decisions and automatic exits. Saved browser sessions restore paused with all bots disabled. Avoid using multiple terminal tabs simultaneously.

Review your history

The latest 100 closing records include partial closes. Export CSV before resetting. Equity samples and short generated sessions do not establish strategy profitability.

Simulator limits: fixed spreads; no broker margin, swaps, commissions, liquidity depth or realistic slippage model. Stops can fill beyond their levels after a generated price gap. Virtual figures have no cash value.

Entry types

Four ways to
queue an entry.

Buy limit

Place the trigger below the current ask. The order waits for the generated ask to fall to or below that level.

Sell limit

Place the trigger above the current bid. The order waits for the generated bid to rise to or above that level.

Buy stop

Place the trigger above the current ask. The order waits for the generated ask to rise to or above that level.

Sell stop

Place the trigger below the current bid. The order waits for the generated bid to fall to or below that level.

Triggered orders fill at the available generated quote. If an entry cannot be opened, including at the five-position limit, it is cancelled and recorded in the journal. No pending entries trigger while the simulation is paused.

Build familiarity

A useful
practice routine.

Start small

Choose a small virtual volume. Read the bid, ask and spread before placing your first order.

Plan the exposure

Set stop and target distances. Compare the illustrative stop exposure with your virtual equity before entering.

Practise the controls

Place a manual order, inspect its initial spread cost, edit the exits and practise closing part or all of the position.

Review before automating

Read the history and journal. Enable one sample bot at a time so you can understand its decisions and position management.

Understand the samples

Automation
you can examine.

Trend sample

Compares short and longer averages of generated updates. It follows a qualifying difference and permits one position from this sample at a time.

Reversion sample

Looks for a deviation from the generated-price average and takes the opposite side. A deviation can continue, so this approach can lose.

Vertex pullback

Uses experimental trend, pullback, ATR and spread conditions. It plans stop exposure around 0.5% of equity and uses a 2R target.

These are experimental samples, separate from paid VCM packages. They can win or lose. Vertex blocks new Vertex entries at or below 95% of starting equity; that guard is not a guaranteed loss limit and does not apply to every other order.

Evaluating a delivered bot

Test the
actual system.

A paid MT5 Expert Advisor, if agreed and delivered, requires a compatible installation and a broker-provided demo account. Confirm the platform version, account permissions, instruments and dependencies.

Follow the delivered installation guide. Do not load unknown executables or share broker passwords through this website.

Agree evaluation length and criteria before testing. Include losing periods, costs, execution errors, parameter sensitivity and drawdowns. Website samples do not replace this process.
